The weather is improving and we have seen more 2 legged visitors in our garden. Some pheasants and some ducks have been searching for food and the pond seems a good playground for the pair of ducks. It’s lovely to see plants starting to bud and spring into life.
On the notgeld front, collecting passion and research continues…..as there is always something that needs to be looked at more in depth or something ‘new’ one can find or see for the first time. I am awaiting delivery of a fantastic graphic which I found on the reverse of a piece of notgeld I recently purchased. I will create an article about it and what the graphic is actually depicting. It makes our hobby so much more interesting, the more one understands about the graphics depicted on the notes we all collect!
One of my recent acquisitions were these 2 verkehrsausgaben notes, issued in Immenstadt. I like the bee-hive and the fish:

The 50pf piece is a ‘true specimen’ missing its usual serial number AND with a cancellation in its place……….. and the 10pf piece is missing its serial number. They are interesting and ‘better’ variants that sit well with the ‘normal’ notes in a collection.
Do you have any interesting variants that you would like to share with other collectors?? If so, please do get in touch!
