TG-M (AUG 26)

I have recently had my hip operation and I’m slowly recovering with pain killers, injections and potions the hospital gave me. Over the next month or so, I expect swellings and pain to lessen a lot and mobility to get better. I’m currently on crutches but able to walk down the garden slowly. I’m looking forward to life returning to some sense of normality.

The recuperation has given me lots of time for notgeld research and to try and hunt down those elusive pieces. Availability of ‘good’ pieces is quite high at the moment so collectors can make the choices they want to. There is definitely a bargain or 2 to be had if you keep your eyes out and watch the coins and banknote auction houses’ sales.

One of my recent purchases was this very interesting piece from Freyburg :

On the reverse, one can see why it is an interesting notgeld to have!! 10pf or 5pf??

Over my 50 + years of collecting and researching notgeld, I have come across several of these notgeld print error types. They all make wonderful additions to a colletion.
