Many of you will have noticed that the menu has changed. The menu items were getting too numerous so something had to be done. The work has now been completed and the website is in a much more manageable state. All articles are still available to GNCC logged in members. Hopefully the layout is clear and specific articles you might be interested in, can be found quickly and easily. It has been a lot of manual work but we are all glad it took place and we are glad with the results. Any problems about the new menu layout, just email me please and I will hopefully be able to address for you.
Whilst cycling the other week, down a single track lane, I was nearly involved in, what could have been, a really bad accident. After years of cycling on country lanes with lots of dangerous drivers, I have now decided to get myself an indoor bike trainer and await its arrival. I am really looking forward to it. I will be able to join virtual races with other cyclists and cycle numerous different routes, all available in very good cycling apps. I will let you know how I get on………
The monthly ‘notgeld of the month ‘, from Beverungen (on the homepage) had me thinking. I had AI create this : I hope you like it? I am always trying to bring the colourful German notgeld to life!! I will be experimenting with other notes in the coming months and years, for sure……. and hope the results are as good as this initial one.

I have picked up a couple of notgeld in the past few weeks but things have been fairly quiet on the notgeld front, it has to be said. I’ve bought a couple of uncatalogued pieces and even manage a duplicate piece. In the next few weeks, I will be checking through my stock and hopefully adding some pieces to the shop. Please keep an eye on them as some of these pieces / sets are only available from me the one time. Many, many of the pieces are coming direct from my own notged collection.
If member ‘Leng’ is reading this, can you please get in touch – many thanks. I have some graphics of notes and places that need to be corrected on the website.
Happy notgeld collecting to all!! This uncommon 75 pfennige ‘serienscheine’ piece from Meiningen arrived recently. It is another specimen piece for my personal collection, with no serial number and hole-punched ‘UNGILTIG (invalid / cancelled)
