1 Billion Mark note issued in Altona and dated ’24 November 1923′. The piece, which is series ‘E’ is in ‘uncirculated/mint’ condition and it has a lovely clear watermark in the paper. Face value is 1 Billion marks (1,000,000,000,000)!!! A true ‘Billion’ and not the more usual 1000 million (Milliarde)!!
