Description
A 500 milliarden mark (500,000,000,000m) note issued in Bamberg and dated ‘Nov 1923’. The note is in ‘used but very good’ condition – please see scans. The note has a black serial number and a raised white stampmark (Praegstempel). On the reverse, this 500 000 000 000 Mark note shows the old ‘regal’ currencies (1pf, 5pf, 1m & 20m) on the left hand side and then the ‘heavy’ new currencies weighing up to them on the right. The picture shows that a pile of the new banknotes is not worth as much as a single old (trusted) coin! I can provide the full translation to the purchaser.
