Berlin – scarcer set of 6 explorers, all in ‘au-unc’ condition which is the norm for these types (serienscheine). Complete set where note ‘I’ is ‘A. Luderitz’ – ‘VI’ is ‘Dr. Carl Peters’. These are less common than the pieces issued on ‘rough’ paper! Set catalogues as Gr/Mehl-88.4 (Scan is picture of normal set for reference only, but this set is definitely the scarcer names and numbers set.
