Description
An uncommon set of 4 notes from the old Austro-Hungarian empire known as Bohemia & Moravia (former Czechoslovakia), dating from 1922. The notes are from Reichenberg, with 2 of the pieces being in ‘used but good’ and the other 2 in ‘au-unc’ – please see scans which show fronts and backs. This set of 4 notes would make a great addition to anyone’s banknote and notgeld collection. They were issued for the ‘3rd International Reichenberg Trade Fair (‘Messeamte’)….. that was held in the town and which ran from 12 – 20 August 1922. The town of Reichenberg is now known as Liberec and is located in the Czech Republic.
