Description
Brakel 3 x 75pf pieces which have blue, brown and olive obverses. All pieces are in ‘au-unc’ condition as is usual with these types (serienscheine). Incomplete set as the complete sets have 5 pieces to them – you are only getting the 75pf of each colour here. On the Town Hall (‘Rathaus’) there is a stone that has the wordings on it which appear on the notgeld. Translation is:
“O Brakel thou art a prize of honour,
Where can one find your like?
There is not in the whole of Germany such a one,
All others must make way to you.”
