Description
5m+ 10m + 20m + 100m pieces issued in Braunschweig and dated 15.10.1918. The 4 notes have been cancelled by being hole-punched ‘NICHT GULTIG’ (Not valid). All 4 notes here are in ‘au-unc’ condition, which is not usually the case with larger sized notes like the 100m piece. Please see scans which show fronts and backs of the notes. (The 100m piece depicts different groups that were affected by the war………..soldiers, workers and mothers……….and also then depicts ‘Death’ itself!)
