A scarce stamped (twice) 50pf piece from the Celle – ‘Oeffentliche Bauten’ set of 4 pieces. This very, very unusual single 50pf piece has ‘Ungueltig’ stamped on its obverse (would suggest a specimen / muster piece) and additionally, ‘Dueren’ stamped on it reverse! The piece is in ‘au-unc’ condition which is the norm for these types (serienscheine). Incomplete set as you are purchasing this scarce ‘stamped’ 50pf piece only. I would hazard a guess that it is some form of uncatalogued specimen?? Please see scan which shows the front and the back of the note. I have only ever seen this one piece with the stamp marks on it but I have no idea why the ‘Dueren’ one is there.
