Description
A scarce 50pf ‘print sample’ or ‘probedruck’ piece issued in Hamm and stamped with ‘Fuer Sammler‘. (For Collector). These types of notes were usually from a test print run and then were handed out to dignatories and special collectors, archivists, newspaper etc. etc. The piece is in ‘au-unc’ condition. The ‘normal’ piece which has a serial number on it catalogues under Gr/Mehl-568.1 and Lm.551a – but don’t forget, this piece is the scarce probedruck piece. The piece is the ‘Neues Oberlandesgericht’ reverse.
