Description

Here is a very interesting piece of hyper-inflationary notgeld, issued in Hildburghausen and printed on a dividend coupon from Veilsdorf! The note is in ‘used but good’ condition – please see scans which show front and back. Piece is dated1’21. September 1923′. An unusual and uncommon/scarce piece of notgeld for your collection!

Kloster Veilsdorf was a town named after a Benedictine monastery that existed from the 12th century until the Reformation (about 1535). In 1760, a porcelain factory was founded there, renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship which was often compared to Meissen.
