Lot of 6 different German notgeld. Pieces come from Bayreuth, Bensheim, Frankfurt a. Oder (Polish : Slubice) and Hadersleben. The Hadersleben pieces are plebiscite issues. The Frankfurt a. Oder pieces have different sized serial numbers. All pieces are in ‘au-unc’ condition -please see scans which show fronts and backs of the notes.
(Frankfurt an der Oder is located in Germany. It is a city in the eastern state of Brandenburg, situated directly on the west bank of the Oder River, which forms the border with Poland. The Polish town of Słubice lies directly across the river, which was part of Frankfurt until 1945.
