Description

A great looking 1 million mark note issued in Reutlingen and dated ’23 August 1923′. On the left-hand side of the picture is a drawing of ‘Friedrich List’. From wikipedia, I get:

  • Georg Friedrich List (6 August 1789 – 30 November 1846) was a German-American economist who developed the ” National System ” of political economy. He was a forefather of the German historical school of economics, and argued for the German Customs Union from a Nationalist standpoint.

This uniface note, which has a fairly low serial number, is in ‘used but very good’ condition – please see scan.
