A true ‘Billion’ and not the more usual 1000 million (Milliarde)!! 1 Billion Mark note issued in Strahwalde-Herrnhut and dated ’18 Oktober 1923′. The piece is in ‘used but very good’ condition, having been folded in half at some stage. It has the bank stamp mark and 2 hand-written signatures on it! – serial number of piece for sale is ‘3069’. This is a great note as it was originally issued with a face value of 1 milliarde mark (1,000,000,000) but it has been overprinted to 1 BILLION (1,000,000,000,000)m.
