A genuine 20 million mark Reichsbanknote from 1923 with anti-semitic propaganda overprint. The piece is in 'used but good' condition. This piece ISN'T NOTGELD, but I am including it here as other collectors have interest with these types.GNCC members could purchase this very interesting and scarce note for 120 euros!!
'This Party-member bought at a Jewish shop!'
(‘Pg’ stands for ‘Partei-Genosse’ (an NSDAP party member!!!) I think this sort of note was pasted and stuck on the coat of someone leaving a Jewish shop who had defied the SA-enforced ban on using Jewish businesses. Sometimes, they were followed home and this was shoved in their letterbox as a warning or pasted on their door. It was a very hard and harmful accusation……..and very dangerous!)
(Further info about these pieces can be found in my 'TARNISHED GEMS' book).
