I am selling here an interesting piece of Reichsbanknote, (this is not 'notgeld') issued in 1923 that has advertising on its reverse, for a Swiss aperitif. After 1923, there would have been literally thousands of pieces of paper monies left, so some were used for advertising purposes, as there was absolutely no value left in the money note itself. These 'advertising' pieces are uncommon types but make for an interesting collection. This note, which is in 'used but good' condition, features in my publication 'TARNISHED GEMS' (but is not anti-semitic. Translation of text is:
'Why complain about the problems of the current crisis?
Weisflog bitter helps - and heals your stomach!'
