Set of 2 notes (Austro-Hungarian Bank) 1916

Description

A set of 2 banknotes issued by the ‘Osterreichische-Ungarische Bank (Austro-Hungarian Bank) and issued in 1916, with both banknotes dated ‘1 Dezember 1916’. These are State issued banknotes and not ‘notgeld’. Both pieces are in ‘au-unc’ condition – please see scans which show fronts and backs of these banknotes. Both notes are stamped ‘DEUTSCHE-OSTERREICH’ (German Austria) a state proclaimed in 1918 after the collapse of the Austria-Hungary empire.
