A genuine 1000m Reichsbanknote from 1922 with anti-governmental and political propaganda overprint. The piece is in ‘used but good’ condition. (The Rentenmark was the stabilized ‘new’ mark after the hyper-inflationary chaos. These overprints were made as a political statement or message. Things like this would help make people angry against the government, which was not very difficult as most people had lost their savings and their trust in government by this stage. The notes would have been handed out to passers-by or at rallies or political meetings.)
