This uncommon note is a donation note/receipt, issued by WESTDEUTSCHER JUENGLINGSBUND (West German Young men’s corporation) in BARMEN (now WUPPERTAL) in 1923.
5000 Mark as an anniversary gift for the benefit of the Jungmaennerarbeit Co., received with thanks by the West German League of Young Men.
The ‘Jünglingsbunde’ were young men’s organisations of the Lutheran Church founded in the mid-19th century.
