Bremen – 3 x 5 million (Francke Werke)

Description

Bremen 3 x 5 million mark hyper-inflationary notes issued by ‘Francke Werke K.a.A.’  The 3 uniface pieces are different variants as they have different dates or different cancellation marks – please see scans. These types catalogue under K.585. The pieces are in ‘au-unc’ condition with the uncancelled piece having some slight browning.  Interestingly, one of the cancellations has the hole-punched date of ‘27.9 1923’, less than a month after it was issued and dated. Some nice examples for any banknote or notgeld collection!
