Grohn – set of 6 – 1914 notgeld (RARE)!! Issued by the ‘Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik’ company, all the pieces have been corner cut cancelled and all are uniface. Different coloured papers for the different face values, as per the catalogue (D-132). 2 pieces have the remains of having been hole-punch cancelled. All pieces have a hand-written serial number and 3 pieces are in ‘very good condition’ and 3 are in ‘au-unc’ condition. Please see scans which show fronts and backs. These are RARE notes and especially nice as they are a comple set of 6 pieces! (1+2+3+4+5+10 mark). This is the first time I have ever seen these rare early 1914 notgeld notes and they would make an excellent addition to anyone’s banknote and/or notgeld collection!
