Description
Hamborn – I have here a very rare artist’s draft of an uncatalogued 5pf piece which would have been issued in Hamborn. Tieste catalogues a 50pf pattern (‘probedruck’) piece (T-2760.10.01) but there is no mention of a 5pf piece or the artist draft for it. The written words at the top of the piece of paper/card translates as “The numbers will later be hand-written…” Under the 2 drawings it states ‘Druckfertig‘ (ready to print) along with the date of ‘20/12/19‘ (1919). A one-off opportunity for someone……… own a piece that no one else has!!!!!
(GNCC members can purchase this ‘one-off’ piece for 360 euros).
