Description
A great addition to any notgeld collection would be these lovely uncommon 5 + 10 mark notes issued in Hersfeld. Dating ‘4 November 1918′ they were valid until ’31 Januar 1919’. There are 2 x 5m notes (one is stamped cancelled and has no raised stamp mark and the other is hole-punch cancelled and does have a raised stamp mark). There are also 2 x 10m notes (one is stamped cancelled and has no raised stamp mark and the other is hole-punch cancelled and does have a raised stamp mark). 2 pieces are in ‘used but good’ condition and the other 2 are in ‘au-unc’ condition – please see scans which show fronts and backs of the notes.
