Kaufbeuren ‘military’ 50pf piece, depicting the German steel helmet. The piece is in ‘au-unc’ condition, as is not the norm with these types (verkehrsausgaben) – please see scans which show front and back of the note. A very interesting and collectable piece of German verkehrsausgaben notgeld for your notgeld collection. Serial number may be different than that shown in the scan. On the reverse, it states :
‘Die Schwertschmied-Stadt im alten Reich wünscht deutschem Schwerte guten Streich.‘
‘The sword-smithing city in the old empire wishes German swords a good strike.‘
