Description
A wertbestaendige note issued in Lueneburg with a face value of 1 KW electricity. The uniface note is undated but it does date from 1923. The piece is uncatalogued by Lindman in his 2008 wertbestaendige catalogue…..but has subsequently been catalogued by him in another notgeld of Saxony catalogue. The piece is in ‘au-unc’ condition. Notgeld with face values in actual amounts of a commodity, were issued to try and stabilize the hyper-inflation.
