(The ‘GSG‘ – ‘GIROVERBAND SACHSISCHER GEMEINDEN‘ or Giros of the Saxony region…….were only issued in Saxony and the giros banking transactions were kept separate from the other banking transactions and monies. There could be up to 600 different issuing giro banks. The 3 words (GSG) can be seen in the central shield like emblem in the banknote’s background design. This note is not catalogued in Keller………BUT, Keller made a typo error and states 5 million instead of 3 million. (No 5 million notes were issued by the GSG in Radeburg).
