Description
Weimar – a 50 milliarden mark note (50,000,000,000m). I believe it was designed by Herbert Bayer of the Bauhaus……or at least inspired by the other Weimar banknotes he designed. Beautifully simplistic in design, the note would make a great addition to anyone’s collection. The note is in ‘very good but used’ condition – please see scans which show front and back. The note is a genuine banknote issued in 1923 when the hyper-inflation was rampant in Germany. It was issued by the Weimar ‘Landesregierung’ (State Government). The piece has a very beautiful but simplistic design of course.
