Description
A most beautifully looking verkehrsausgaben specimen / muster notgeld from Aschaffenburg, designed by the famous notgeld artist, Heinz Schiestl. The note is missing the usual serial number and it has a hole-punched cancellation ‘UNGILTIG’. Imagery shows St. Martin on the obverse. The piece is in ‘au-unc’ condition. These specimen types are wonderful and would go well in your notgeld collection, especially if you like the more usual note alongside the scarcer variant piece. The Aschaffenburg ‘UNGILTIG’ piece is very uncommon / scarce.
