Neustadt – German/Polish early 1914 notgeld!!

Description

Neustadt – German/Polish set of 6 ‘1914’ uncommon/scarce notgeld. The thing to notice here is the word ‘August’ – look at the letter ‘s’ which can be slightly different. On the 50pf + 1 + 2 + 3 m notes, it is ‘long’. Now look at the same letter on the 10pf note – it is short. The 5pf piece is different to everything and has a pointed letter ‘A’ in the word ‘August’. I have gone through the catalogue and taken all the used prices as the pieces are in used condition. All pieces are hole-punch cancelled – please see scans which shows fronts and backs. There were only 4031 pieces made of the 1m, 3534 of the 2m and 1486 of the 3m. These are very early notgeld issues with 2 x hand-written signatures on them, which I paid a lot of money for 30 years ago! A fantastic opportunity for any notgeld collector!! They catalogue under D-260
