Austrian ‘1000000000’ golden calf fantasy note!!!
This Austrian ‘1,000,000,000’ note is printed on very nice gilded paper and is issued by the “National Bank of Eferding” to the tune of 1,000,000,000 “in Golden Calf currency“, with a picture of people dancing round the Golden Calf (as the Israelites did in the Book of Exodus), for the purpose of “satisfying the mania for dancing around the Golden Calf. Redeemable at the beginning of an age of  abject failure against calf-ish currency’, – “kaelbern” (calf-ish) being a synonym for stupid.
Note is in ‘used but very good’ condition.
